はじめに – Introduction
筆者の好きな曲は沢山あります。好きなジャンルは滅茶苦茶ですが、良いものは良いのです。
その中で、筆者の好みと合わせて、多くの人に愛されている名曲をとりあえず3曲だけピックアップしました。皆さんにも、是非聞いてもらいたいなと思っています。（今回の記事では実験的に、自動翻訳の英訳を併記してみました）
There are many songs that the author likes. My favorite genre is a mess, but the good ones are good.
Among them, I have picked up only three great songs for now that are loved by many people, along with the author’s preferences. I hope you will listen to them as well. (As an experiment in this article, I have included the English translation of the songs alongside the automatic translation.)
吉田拓郎「全部だきしめて」- Takuro Yoshida “Tighten everything up”
最初の曲は、吉田拓郎「全部だきしめて」です。この曲は KinKi Kids が有名ですね。筆者は、ここ10年位前から吉田拓郎を良く聞くようになりました。演奏やコーラスしている皆がとても楽しそうなのが特に良いです。
The first song is “Zenbu Dakishimete” by Takuro Yoshida. This song is well known by KinKi Kids. I have been listening to Takuro Yoshida for the past 10 years. I especially like the fact that everyone who plays and choruses the song seems to be having a lot of fun.
松原みき「真夜中のドア」- Miki Matsubara “Stay With Me”
続いて、松原みきの「真夜中のドア」です。筆者が、松原みきを知ったのは数年前になります。YouTube で最初に聴いた時は驚きました。ちなみに、リリースは1979年、オリコン最高28位だそうです。
Next is “Midnight’s Door” by Miki Matsubara. I first came to know Miki Matsubara several years ago, and was surprised when I first heard her song on YouTube. Incidentally, the song was released in 1979 and reached No. 28 on Oricon’s best-selling list.
この曲でギターを弾いているのはギタリストの松原正樹です。（修正前の記事で父娘と勘違いしてました。お詫びして訂正します）特に後半のギターはいいですね。松原正樹は大好きなギタリストでスタジオミュージシャンです。驚くほど多くのヒット曲でギターを弾いていますが、裏方なので知名度はそこそこなのかも知れません。
The guitarist playing guitar on this song is guitarist Masaki Matsubara. (I mistakenly thought it was father and daughter in the article before the correction. I apologize and correct it.) I especially like the guitar in the latter half of the song. Masaki Matsubara is my favorite guitarist and studio musician. He plays guitar on a surprisingly large number of hit songs, but he is behind the scenes, so his name recognition is probably not that great.
松原みきの歌唱力は素晴らしいと思います。さらに、作詞、作曲、編曲、演奏者の全てがプロフェッショナルな仕事をしていて完成度が極めて高い。2020年後半、日本国外でこの曲の人気が急上昇したとのことで、次にリンクした動画は（執筆時点で）1億3200万以上の視聴です。
I think Miki Matsubara’s singing ability is excellent. Furthermore, the lyrics, composition, arrangement, and performers all do a professional job and are extremely high in perfection. the song’s popularity outside Japan skyrocketed in late 2020, and the video linked next has (at the time of writing) over 132 million views.
Barry Eugene White「あふれる愛を」 – Can’t Get Enough of Your Love, Babe
古い言い回しだと「低音の魅力」です。しかし、高音も素晴らしい。というか、そんなことではなく、ストレートなエモーショナルな表現が魅力です。語るように歌う真骨頂だと思います。
The old phrase is “bass appeal”. But the treble is great, too. Or, rather, it is not that, but straight emotional expression that is the charm. I think it’s the quintessence of singing as if you were telling a story.
【おまけ】本記事のアイキャッチ – [Bonus] Eye catch of this article
一応音楽の記事なので、それに相応しいアイキャッチにしてみました。セミアコの代名詞と言われる、ギブソンの es335 です。筆者も出来たら購入して弾いてみたいと思っています。
